Use the Victoria ID app to verify ID documents such as passports, identity cards, residence permits, and drivers licenses worldwide.Most ID cards contain a chip.
This chip contains information about the ID.
To gain access to the chip, the Machine Readable Zone of the ID must first be read (using the camera).
The chip is read using NFC (Near Field Communication).
Most smartphones and tablets support NFC.Information gathered during the verification process is not kept on the device, and only shared with the organization that requested the check, after explicit permission of the user.The Victoria ID app is developed and owned by Victoria ID.
This service is free for persons who perform the ID check.
Victoria ID offers the application to organizations that use the Victoria ID screening software.
